A Bit About Me
My name is Mike Skirzynski.
I am a relationship builder and data organizer. It is my mission to help businesses grow by creating meaningful, long-term connections, and by making and implementing sustainable, scalable processes.
My experiences have taken me across many fields and the globe, beginning with automotive engineering with the Queen's Formula SAE race team and competing in the US. I then dove head-first into the renewable energy world with Potentia Renewables and the Emerging Leaders for Solar Energy (ELSE), where I helped scale-up both businesses on a national-level.
Today, I'm working to help startups in the UK scale by selling into large enterprise, and I've had the opportunity to work with the FIA in Paris (think Formula 1), as well as with CESO in Vietnam to guide a utility in the construction of a ground mount solar project. I'm also involved with a number of ongoing projects, such as a research project on open-source energy platforms, and of course my blog "Energy - Disrupted." I hold my Project Management Professional (PMP), EIT certification, hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Queen’s University, and an International MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
